Before I go ahead and do a micro-review of the test plan, I would like
to clear the following confusion we have for the -o option of eek and
the online eek that I am working on.

=20

The -o option for eek is for a version of online eek that can be run at
regular intervals. Also it is used for verification only. Online repair
is not available with this option. (Jobi, correct me if I am wrong on
this). Also, this version of online eek would restrict access to the
file system for regular operations. It actually freezes (locks) the file
system, so that regular CIFS/NFS ops are blocked.=20

=20

The online eek described in this functional spec. is an on-demand eek in
repair mode that would run only once when the command is invoked and not
at regular intervals. It also allows access to the file system while it
is running.

=20

The only options valid for running online eek are:

usage: eek <volname> [DoNotReplay] [lvolOnline] [-f] [-i|-r] [-q] [-s
<snapnum>|-S] [-t] [-V] [-o <minutes>|-O]
       -i Run in interactive mode
       -r fix detected file-system problems
       -d dump the superblock
-v Turn on the verbose mode (on by default)
-V Turn off the default verbose mode

=20

=20

I hope this clears the confusion.

=20

Thanks,

Amit

Please review the Online EEL test cases. The functional spec is attached
too.

Mandatory reviewers are FS team (especially Amit) and QA team.

Copy Brinda for comments. Need to receive feedback by 11/13.

Thanks,

Sandrine
